Burgundy, forest green, and camel: my three winter neutrals. Winter neutral colors that is. I love these colors and wear them on rotation throughout the winter months. I just love the deep reds and greens and camel is a staple as well. I have so many different shades of camel and beige (see this and this post) and they go with everything!
And don’t fret, but I have lots of emerald greens and burgundy pieces as well. I love a nice cranberry, don’t you? I also love these pants. I got them at Banana Republic and they are of course, Sloan pants. I swear by them, they are the best style of pants I have ever worn. They are flattering on everyone and so, so comfortable.
As for the bag it is one of my favorites. It’s my casual, day bag I use when I don’t want to lug my big tote around. I want to find another vintage Dooney like this and there are tons of places in Wicker Park here that I need to go back and look for one at. I love these more than the modern ones and they’re better quality than the ones of today. And if you’re wondering how I am not freezing in Chicago in this, then you’d be happy to know that I took this on a warm day. Any time it’s warmer than 30 degrees out, I scramble to get some outfit photos done. Because it’s winter in Chicago!
