Another end to the week and it is the perfect time to bring out this wool jacket. The weather has cooled down for good it seems and this jacket is SO WARM. I found this jacket at a vintage store for $12 and fell in love with it. The jacket actually fit me and the wool is in perfect shape. I don’t know if you have this problem, but when I’m looking for jackets (vintage or otherwise) it’s hard to find one that fits me well. My frame gets overwhelmed so easily by a jacket it’s frustrating. Not this jacket! It fit so well I had to get it.
I love the fit, but not the buttons. I figured I’d just sew some new ones on and viola! I had these ones in my house and decided to use mismatched buttons rather than matching ones. I couldn’t find any I liked, so I used the ones I liked that I’ve collected over the years! To top it off I put this brooch on it to complete the jacket and make use of this great pin I found a few months ago.
