I hope everyone has had a great Labor Day weekend so far. I have had a relaxing weekend which is exactly what I needed after the last month. Things are starting to cool off and down. The weather this weekend was perfect. It was cooler, less humid (thank God), and the sky was so beautiful! We decided to go up the water tower in St. Louis and it’s so cool!
You get a better view of the city than you do when you go up the Arch. (Honestly I hate going up the Arch though, so I may be biased..) BUT it was so great. You could see downtown, Clayton, the Central West End, and everything in between and beyond. Once we climbed the 198 stairs to the top it was smooth sailing. The windows at the top open too so there was the best breeze blowing through. I could’ve spent hours up there just sitting, it was so great. But I have to come back down eventually.
Come back down and walk around the park area too! I got some great shots and wish I would’ve known how pretty it was because I would’ve taken outfit photos there. Across the street Karpels Manuscript Library Museum where some manuscripts are held. I saw some fun illustrations from Charles Dickens books as well as a page from an original Puccini score. This is free, but the water tower cost $5, and I recommend them both! Enjoy the photos and I hope you guys had a good weekend as well!
