Here are my top picks to read for fall, read alone or with friends and start a little book club for fall!
This book is a modern take on Pride and Prejudice and it so fun! I really enjoyed how it had modern spins on the classic, from having Bing Lee as Jane’s gentlemen caller, to having Lydia as the Bennet’s gothic cousin. I couldn’t put this one down, I read it in two days! Get it here
Elements of Style is set in New York right after 9/11 happened. It takes you on a journey between these Upper East Side royalty, and their trial and tribulations. It’s like Gossip Girl, only for adults and is beautifully written and the plot keeps you guessing, get it here
I picked this book up while I had a long layover at the airport a few weeks ago and I ended up loving it. This book is funny and smart, and has a little bit of a farcical feel to it. It’s good to read on the go, get it here!
This is a great reference book for how to approach style, fashion, and everything in between it! I like to use this book as a reference for finding stylish, quality clothes, and how to tell when something isn’t. A great book for anyone looking to up their style or closet! Get it here
The Perfume Collector is a very romantic book, set in one of the most romantic cities in the world. The main character has received an inheritance from someone she never even met, and must find out how this woman knew her, and why she is receiving all this money from a stranger. Get it here
The last book I picked is by Adriana Trigiani, one of my favorites. She has a couple of books I have read and loved, and this one is no exception. It takes you on a journey of a girl’s life, her first love, and who that love is present throughout her entire life. A must read, get it here
