Yesterday marked the unofficial end of summer with Labor Day. However the weather doesn’t always catch up right away. Although in Chicago it just might you never know! But it’s still a little warm out, so I will be wearing this off shoulder top now and throughout fall.
I found this top a couple of weeks ago and J.Crew and I absolutely had to have it. It’s a great price (only $25 and it comes in three colors!) and the fabric is a nice and comfy knit. However this knit says fall more than summer because it is a thicker knit. So I went with the black so I can wear it during fall, as well as when it gets warmer again next season. Well technically winter would be next, but let’s not dwell on the dark times, shall we?
I think so and I gotta say I’m glad to bring a little bit of summer into the fall. I love fall so much but I’m a little sad to see summer go this year. Maybe because I know that it’s going to get cold here in Chicago and I don’t want that to happen again. But it could be something else. Although I think that’s what it is 100%. Oh well, it was nice knowing you summer!
However I will still be wearing sandals and skirts. I found these sandals a couple of weeks ago at Talbots and they were exactly what I wanted! For real though I have been looking for a pair of shoes like these for three summers and low and behold, I found a pair I like for a price I love! Talbots has a bunch of great styles like this on super sale right now, so stock up and save for next summer. (I might buy these sandals because they’re such a great deal!)
That got me thinking that my favorite off shoulder styles should be able to work seamlessly into fall. I have some great off shoulder tops that will work great for fall and beyond below!
