Last weekend when my parents were in town we went on a Chicago architecture tour with Chicago First Lady Cruises. I have been wanting to do one of these cruises for so long and it was the most perfect day to do one! Well it was extremely hot but the sky was beautiful and a wind would come by every once in a while. It made up for it.
There are lot of different cruises you can go on on the Chicago River but we picked the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s cruise. This cruise gave you a ton of information on the buildings and history of the city. There are so many Art Deco buildings you guys, this city is so pretty! If you are an architecture or history buff (or both!) I’d suggest Chicago Architecture Foundation for sure.
What was also great about being on the river was seeing the city in a new light. I got to see it from different angles and new parts of the city I had never seen before! Needless to say I took lots of pictures and I am sharing some of them with you today! I’ll share more later, but for now enjoy these beauties. I’m also sharing a lot of these because it’s an easy post for me since I’m moving this week, but you probably didn’t need to know that… Have fun!
